The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is a 6.201 km, 17-corner street circuit designed by Carsten Tilke, built on public roads that include a stretch of the Strip. It is one of the fastest street layouts on the calendar: the main straight is about 1.9 km long, and Yuki Tsunoda was recorded at 358.3 km/h in 2025. The lap passes the Sphere, Caesars Palace, Bellagio and Paris Las Vegas.

The circuit is cold at night, and low temperatures make it hard to get heat into the tyres, especially on a track with so many long straights and slow corners. Drivers get long stretches of low-load running followed by heavy braking into slow corners, a combination that keeps engineers busy with brake cooling and tyre warm-up.

Formula 1 last raced in Las Vegas in 1982, when the Caesars Palace Grand Prix used a temporary circuit in a car park. The modern return was announced by Liberty Media, and the first race on the Strip took place on 16 November 2023. F1 bought a parking lot for about $240 million and built a permanent pit and paddock complex there.

The original layout was drawn with 14 corners and was revised to add a chicane. Max Verstappen won the first race in 2023, George Russell won in 2024 after a pole lap averaging about 150 mph, and Verstappen won again in 2025, when he also set the lap record.

The 2026 race is scheduled for Saturday 21 November.
